The Meadows of Mendon Stables is located on the corner of West Bloomfield and Boughton Hill Road, nestled in the Hamlet
of Mendon. We invite you to experience the benefits of riding in a tranquil environment.


The stables is a private riding facility and people are scheduled by appointment only. Appointments are mandatory for you to visit the stables. Visit by appointment only. We are not a public horse boarding facility.
We are a community based recreational riding stables that services youth through adults in the instruction of horseback riding.

Our riders range from 2 years old to 76 years old. The stables main farm is Meadows of Mendon Stables located in Mendon. This stable also owns and operates a second farm in the southern tier.

We enjoy riding English and Western.
The stables owns and maintains 26 horses.
We have been providing horseback riding
services since September 1st, 2000.


Riders build bonds and friendships with equine and human friends and through this interaction, patience is taught.



Horseback riding has been attributed to many positive outcomes for its riders. For school age and adult riders there has been reported an increase in work ethic, responsibility, and organizational skills.
Horseback riding also enhances coordination and helps build core muscles.
Parents and teachers have noted an increase in self-confidence, respect, courage, and commitment.
