



Indigenous Peoples' (columbus) and veterans day riding program

Riding Tuition: $65.00 per rider, per day.
Program Description:

Time: Students arrive and depart between 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Actual riding time and horse time occur between 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Before and after horse/riding time, students will learn how to feed horses, groom horses, nursing care on horses, and tend to other animals that live at the stables; Monday-Friday

Age: 5 years old and up. Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced Rider’s.

Structured youth horseback riding program that is tailored to meet individuals needs.

We promote safe pleasure riding, English or Western, in a non-competitive environment.

Horse care includes- Safety, feeding, grooming, saddling-up, nursing care, bathing, games on horseback, ground work techniques, and confidence building.

Horse education through class time and hands-on.

We are a teaching and learning program.

Riders are matched to horses appropriate for their riding level. You will have 24 different horses & ponies to choose from for your riding time. We ride all morning and afternoon. We strive to give the rider as much riding time as they can handle.

Lunch: Bring a healthy lunch. Rider’s have a microwave and refrigerator available for their use. Bring a couple of labeled water bottles each day.

Attire: Dress weather appropriate. Long pants & boots with a 1/4” heel, stables provides ASTM helmets. Please no bicycle helmets. If it snows that week wear snow pants and snow boots.

Horseback riding occurs in an indoor riding arena, outdoor riding arena and the cross-country course. Pasture racing and cross-country course riding is for intermediate- advance riders only.

Special needs therapeutic riding program available to a limited number of participants for the week- Utilizing special horses and adaptive equipment.

No Cell phones, Laptop computers, MP3 players, etc. NO ELECTRONICS.
