Regular Youth Rider- $400.00/Therapeutic Youth Rider- $500.00

Time: Youth Riders arrive and depart between 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Riding time and
Horse time occur between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. ALL of you will arrive and depart at
separate times. Daily Schedule: From 7am to 11am: 1.5 hours riding time and horse
care. Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Group project: 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. From
1:00pm to 5:30pm, 1.5 hours riding time, horse care, class time and dismissal.
Structured youth horseback riding program that is tailored to meet individual needs.
We promote safe pleasure riding, English or Western, in a non-competitive
environment. Students can choose from 20 equine friends for their riding time. Horse
care includes- safety, feeding, grooming, saddling-up, nursing care, bathing, equipment
care and stables team projects. Horse Instruction includes class time and hands-on.
We are a teaching and learning program.
Riders are matched to horses appropriate for their riding level. You will have 20
different lesson horses & ponies to choose from for your riding time. Novice-
Intermediate-Strong Intermediate or advanced. Each day Rider’s receive 3.0 hours
per rider, per day of riding time in total.
Please bring a healthy hot or cold lunch Monday – Thursday. Friday April 2, 2021,
Pizza provided via contactless Salvatores Pizza. Riders have access to a microwave,
refrigerator and freezer available for their use. Bring a couple of labeled water bottles
Attire: Dress weather appropriate. Long pants & boots with a 1/4” heel, stables
provides ASTM helmets or purchase your own helmet via statelinetack.com. If it

Horseback riding occurs in an indoor riding arena, outdoor riding arena and the cross-
country course. Pasture racing and cross-country course riding is for intermediate to
advanced riders only. We walk the entire property for cool out. Outdoor riding,
jumping, games on horseback, ground- work techniques and the mechanics of riding.
No Cell phones, Laptop computers, MP3 players, etc. NO ELECTRONICS.
